A customer service professional with over 16 years in the industry spanning from barista to private fine dining server to Michelin-awarded bar manager. Having focused in the Los Angeles bar industry for the last 8 years, I've helped open numerous award winning restaurants, created countless menus, and helped educate a generation of bartenders while increasingly rounding my experiences with private bartending, consulting, and brand representation.
Having a growing background in agave spirits, I focused on the vast cultural history of Mexico, Mexican Beverages, and telling their stories through cocktails. Doing so while managing the beverage program at Broken Spanish, an award winning restaurant by Chef Ray Garcia in DTLA, responsible for menu creation, daily operations, and instilling a comprehensive training program for not only staff but interested guests.
Truth of the matter is this. I make cocktails that don't suck. A truly great cocktail is refreshing, balanced, and connects you to the ingredients in the glass. It should be a cohesive experience that drives you to continue sipping.
Things don't need to be complicated. Fresh ingredients, quality spirits, and a hard shake.
I've grown a passion for educating others; sharing the knowledge that I've accumulated over years through tastings, trainings, books, and classes. Training young bartenders how to improve their craft and become more confident in high pressure situations.
